Yamba Real Wedding – Valentine’s Day Nuptials in Yamba

The day of romance we call Valentine’s Day is named for a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5th century. Annually celebrated by many as a day of love and affection. To Katie and Tristan, there was no better day to tie the knot at Angourie Resort in Yamba.

Why did you choose Angourie Resort?

We love everything about Yamba! The never failing surf reserve, small town vibe, location and beaches. The natural beauty of Yamba is unbeatable. We regularly went to Yamba in high school for camping and surfing trips, this soon became our favorite yearly holiday destination. We got engaged at Yamba while staying at Angourie Resort and it was decided on our engagement day that we would have our wedding there also.

Describe your day and how you both felt

All our wedding guests stayed at the resort and loved it, from the point of check in to check out, everything went smoothly. Anything we needed was done with no hassle and the weekend ran exactly how I imagined it. No stress on the day either, I just relaxed and enjoyed every moment, exactly what you need on your wedding day!

What was the stand-out moment for you?

The days in the lead up to the wedding made extremely special memories for us. Eating at the Cunjevoi Restaurant & Bar by night and hanging by the pool sipping cocktails.
